Who Are You Voting For and Why

If you are voting  on any highly emotion issue that is not personally and directly about you, you are voting for someone else's best interest  and against your own and your family best interest.   

When one takes a long, hard look at the evidence, it's amazing that anybody with a lick of common sense can possibly want another four years with the Republicans in the Whitehouse.   But unfortunately there are two groups who do want more of the same.   

    There are the sleepwalking multi-millionaire who have no idea what realty is and who measure everything in terms of money.  

    And then there are those who vote exclusively on emotion and think they are doing the right thing.   These are the people suckered into voting against their own best interests.   They are the mindless true believers is unprovable religious stories such as  The Rapture ² fairytale.   These people think the wars, strife, starvation, desperation, environmental destruction, and Global Climate Change are good things.   They believe that these are signs that Jesus will be returning soon.

Based on the constant shift in the opinion poles, one could conclude that there is a sizable portion of the population that shift sides about once a week.    The logical question to ask is, "On what basis do people make their decision regarding who they are going to vote for?   How much is pure emotion?   Where does logic and common sense fit into the picture?   How do we find out what issues are really important to the voters?"   And more importantly, "Why are those issues important?"   

With only  partial information regarding the above questions, we've made some best guesses.   In the list below, you'll find the ones that, at the moment, appear to loom large in the public media:
